The Charter of Rights and Freedoms is a very important document for all Canadians, because it protects Canadians from unfair government actions.
There are many "rights" that are guaranteed for Canadians, and some of them include: The "right" to vote for your own government, the "right" to enter a race to work for the government, the "right" to speak freely, the "right" to practice any religion, the "right" to belong to a group of your choice, the "right" to travel throughout Canada without anyone's permission, the "right" to have a fair trial, and the "right" to be treated equally.
